Delete your Murmkin account

In the app

Open Options, go to Account and choose Delete my account…. It works on Windows and Android and happens straight away.

Without the app

Write to admin@spiritwalkerstudios.com from the email address you signed up with, and ask us to delete your account. We'll do it within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

• your profile, pet, settings, stars and items;
• your pairing, and the whole shared chat with your partner: messages, photos, voice messages, files;
• everything in your shared “Us” space, your secret notes and your scheduled messages;
• your devices' keys and notification tokens.

The shared chat is deleted for your partner too, because it belongs to both of you. If you want to keep a copy, open the chat menu and choose Export first (the export file isn't encrypted, so keep it somewhere safe).

Nothing is kept afterwards, except for a short time in our hosting provider's backups, which are then overwritten. See the privacy policy for details.

Only want to stop talking to one person?

You don't have to delete your account. In Options → Account, choose Disconnect, and keep or delete your shared history. If either of you deletes it, it's gone for both.
